This article will show you how to embed maps and dashboards in ClearPoint.

With ClearPoint, you can easily integrate interactive maps and dashboards, this will help you view your data more dynamically without leaving ClearPoint.


Copying the embed code

Map embed codes

Most mapping software applications make it easy to get embed codes that will allow you to share your maps. You can find instructions for accessing these embed codes by clicking on the links below.

Dashboard embed codes

Dashboard platforms, such as PowerBI and Tableau, make it easy to get embed codes that will allow you to share your dashboards.

    • Copy the <iframe> link.

    • Use the instructions under “Specify the View URL.”

Embedding the link in ClearPoint

Add a Custom Field

  • From the Control Panel click on System Settings

  • Select System Setup

  • Click on Custom Fields

  • On the Scorecard tab click on the Plus icon

  • Under Custom Field Name, enter the name of the new custom field, in this example, ‘ClearPoint Strategy Map’.

  • Under Field Type select HTML with Data

  • Once you are done with your changes, click Save

Using the Custom Field in the Scorecard Summary Report

  • Select Scorecards & Elements from the Control Panel

  • Choose Manage Reports

  • Click on Scorecard Reports

  • Select the Scorecard we are going to be working with, in this example, ‘Manager Home Page’.

  • Click the edit Pencil icon

  • Locate the custom field created in the step above and click the Plus icon to add it to the layout

  • Drag and drop the custom field in the desired location

  • Click Save

  • Double-click on the custom field on the Scorecard page

  • Click on Additional toolbar items

  • Select the HTML Editor icon <>

  • Paste in the embed code you copied from your mapping or dashboard software

  • Click on Close, you will see a preview of the map

  • Mark the green check to Save your changes

  • You will see the interactive map on the Scorecard Summary Report page
