This article walks through how to rename default field names in ClearPoint.

In ClearPoint, each element comes with default field names such as 'Scorecard', 'Analysis', 'Objective', etc. These field names can be customized to match your organization's naming conventions.


Renaming a default field

In this example, we will change the Owner's name in the Objective element.

  • From the Control Panel click on System Settings

  • Select System Setup

  • Click on Default fields under Standard Features

  • Navigate to the Objectives tab

  • On the Custom Label for the Owner field enter ‘Primary Reporter’.

  • For Recommendations, we are going to enter ‘Proposal’.

  • Additionally, the Update fields can be Hidden by marking the checkbox

  • Once you are done with your changes, click Save
