This article explains how to set up a default chart type in ClearPoint.

Administrators in ClearPoint have the ability to set a default chart type for new measures that are added to your account. This helps ensure consistency in the way data is presented.


Setting a default Chart type

  • From the Control Panel click on System Settings

  • Select System Setup

  • Click on Default Series and Charts under Standard Features

  • Navigate to the Charts tab

  • Select a Chart type from the Default Chart Type dropdown menu

    • This will be the default chart for whenever anyone adds a new measure.

  • Use the Update Chart Legends to bulk edit the location of all legends in charts across your account.

  • Once you are done with your changes, click Save
