An Objective in ClearPoint is a long-term goal that your company or team is working towards. They are the milestones that you need to achieve in order to reach your overall company strategy.
Adding an Objective
Select Scorecards & Elements from the Control Panel
Choose Manage Elements
Click on Objectives
Select Add Objective from the dropdown menu or click the Plus icon
Under Name, enter the new Objective name, for example, ‘Increase customer satisfaction by 15%.’
Choose an Owner from the dropdown menu
Click Save
Editing an Objective from the ‘Manage Elements’ page
Select Scorecards & Elements from the Control Panel
Choose Manage Elements
Click on Objectives
Select the Objective you are going to be working with
Click on the Edit Pencil icon
Navigate to the Update Fields tab
Update accordingly
Click Save
Updates are changes that apply to a particular period.
Navigate to the Edit Fields tab
Examples of information that can be edited could be an Objective name, Reporting, Frequency, Owner, or Description.
Edits are changes that will stay the same regardless of what period the user is in.
Navigate to the Links tab
Here you can manage the elements that are linked to your Objective
Navigate to the Notifications tab
Update your Notification preferences accordingly
Editing an Objective on a detail page
Select the Objective you are going to be working with
Click on the Edit Pencil icon
Navigate to the Edit Fields tab
Edit accordingly
Click Save
Bulk editing Objectives
Select Scorecards & Elements from the Control Panel
Choose Manage Elements
Select Objectives
Mark the checkboxes next to the Objectives you want to Edit
Select Edit Multiple from the dropdown menu
The Objectives tab shows all of the Objectives you will be making changes to
Navigate to the Update Fields and Edit Fields to perform your changes accordingly
Once you are done click Save
In the Edit Fields section, changes can be made to the objectives that will be the same no matter what period the user is logged into.
In the Update Fields section, changes can be made for a particular period.
