The ClearPoint Content Generator is a Google Chrome extension. It helps you generate shortcodes and widgets to reference information from your ClearPoint account on a WordPress Community Dashboard.
Prerequisites
ClearPoint will need to send you a zip file for the Content Generator. Click here to request this file if we have not already sent it to you.
Install the extension
Unzip the file and save it to your desktop
Open Google Chrome and go to the URL chrome://extensions
Make sure that Developer Mode is enabled
Click on Load Unpacked
A file browser window will appear
Select the Chrome-Plugin-master folder
Click Select
The extension will appear at the top of the list.
You will see the ClearPoint chart icon appear to the right of the URL bar to indicate that the extension was properly installed.
You can click on this icon to open the extension
Important: the Content Generator is currently not available in the Chrome Web Store. This means that when your browser is fully closed and reopened, Chrome will ask if you want to disable the developer mode extension. Simply click the X to continue using the generator.
